Key Responsibilities:
Assist in payroll processing, including data entry, validation, and reconciliation of payroll transactions.
Support the payroll team in maintaining accurate employee records, including timekeeping and attendance data.
Help verify payroll calculations and deductions to ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Assist with responding to employee payroll inquiries and resolving discrepancies.
Participate in audits and payroll reporting to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Work with cross-functional teams, including HR and Finance, to improve payroll processes and efficiency.
Assist in researching payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Support payroll documentation and filing for internal and external reporting purposes.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the payroll team.
What is Nokia looking from me:
Basic knowledge of payroll processes, labor laws, and tax regulations is a plus.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with payroll software is a plus.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
