Descripción del puesto

We are looking for:
A professional who can scientifically explain the performance of the demand plan and protect its integrity through structured analysis and documentation

Own the end-to-end operational execution of the Demand Planning cycle (1.1–1.6), leveraging the Customer’s Forecasting Tool as the core engine for statistical baseline generation, exception management, forecast monitoring, and performance improvement


This role is highly analytical and tool-driven. The Demand Planner must extract maximum value from the forecasting platform to drive measurable accuracy and stability improvements, ensuring clear separation between:
• Mathematical Baseline (owned by FaaS)
• Collaborative Adjustments (shared)
• Management Overrides (business-driven)

The Demand Planner must be able to clearly explain why the demand plan failed when it fails, quantifying and segmenting root causes between statistical model performance and commercial intervention impact.

This role requires analytical maturity, structured documentation discipline, and the ability to protect forecast integrity through fact-based challenge.

🔎 Ideal Profile
•⁠ ⁠Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related field
•⁠ ⁠Fully bilingual in English (mandatory – international client exposure)
•⁠ ⁠Strongly data-driven and tool-oriented
•⁠ ⁠Solid background in applied mathematics and statistical modeling
•⁠ ⁠Experience in Demand Planning or Supply Chain Analytics
•⁠ ⁠Knowledge of IBP processes (highly desirable)
•⁠ ⁠Preferred knowledge in advanced planning systems such as:
o SAP IBP
o AERA
o Forecast Pro
o Demantra
o SAP APO
o Blue Yonder
or similar demand planning platforms

🌎 Work Model
Hybrid model: 1 day per week onsite in Mexico City
Temporary project (6 weeks) with long-term potential (1 to 2 years)
Open to candidates located in Mexico City, State of Mexico, Puebla, Querétaro, or Toluca, with availability to attend the office at least once per week.
