As an Energy Lawyer Intern at Energía Real, you will support the legal team with key tasks related to distributed energy projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about renewable energy and the future of decentralized energy systems. You will work alongside experienced professionals, assisting with legal research, contract drafting, regulatory compliance, and more, while developing your career in energy law.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts related to distributed energy projects, including power purchase agreements (PPAs), grid connection agreements, and service contracts.

Provide legal support regarding compliance with energy regulations and policies, including local, national, and international laws governing distributed energy systems.

Help analyze and interpret energy regulations impacting the development, deployment, and operation of distributed energy solutions.

Assist in the due diligence process for distributed energy projects, including risk assessment, regulatory compliance checks, and financial structuring.

Collaborate with internal teams to prepare legal reports, memos, and documents related to energy transactions and commercial agreements.

Stay informed on market trends, regulatory updates, and legal developments within the distributed energy sector.

Provide administrative support as necessary to assist with the daily operation of the legal department.

Qualifications:

Current law student or recent graduate

A strong interest in renewable energy and distributed energy systems, including energy generation, storage, and consumption.

Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Fluency in English is required.
